OPERATING INSTRUCTION 

1. Moisture Meter
   1. Set the switch in the “MOIST” Then insert the probes into the soil between the pot and the plant, the insertion-depth of the probes should be between 3cm and 15cm.

Note: For better measurement accuracy, it is recommended to insert the probes into the soil to the depth of about 15cm (about 3/4 of probe length) if the soil is thick enough.

2. Pick up the zone of color on the middle scale,

Red (1-3)
For plants which should not be too short of water, never add water until the pointer is found in the first half of the red zone.

Green (3-8)
For plants which regularly require water, add water once the pointer achieves at the second half of the green zone.

Blue (8-10)
Don’t add any water, don’t water your plant.

2. Photometer
   Put the photometer near the plant, the photo-eye (which is at the centre of the meter top) toward the light source. Set the switch in the LIGHT position. Make sure that the photo-eye is not masked. Pick up the position of the pointer on the upper scale. For information about the specific needs of your plants. consult a specialist.

3. PH Meter
   Set the switch in the “PH” position.

Testing Earth
Prepare the earth sample for test: Take away all the stones, clod, glass, etc.

1. Tenderly clean the probes with an abrasive soft paper and dry cloth or a toilet paper. Make sure that the probes are clean and dry, then insert the probes into the earth to be tested. If the earth is too dry, wet it.
2. Read the PH value on the bottom scale after 60 seconds.
